Meet The Artist

I am a polymer clay artist devoted to exploring the medium's limitless possibilities.  While I have worked in many artistic disciplines over the years, discovering polymer clay felt like coming home.  I was immediately drawn to its extraordinary versatility and the freedom it offers to translate imagination into tangible art form.

Creativity is at the heart of my practice.  My work is inspired by themes of nature and fantasy, with a strong emphasis on color exploration, texture, and thoughtful composition.  Each piece is carefully crafted with close attention to detail, with the goal of engaging viewers through both form and visual presence.

My study of polymer clay has been entirely self-taught.  I have relied on the web, articles and the generosity of artists who openly share their techniques and processes. Building on the shared knowledge, I have developed a personal approach to the medium - one that values experimentation, curiosity, and joy.  I believe that learning a creative process should be as enjoyable as creating the art itself.

As a recently juried artist at the Village Arts Center at Balboa Park in San Diego, California, I will be exhibiting my work as a patio artist in the center's courtyard.  Being surrounded by fellow artists who share a passion for expanding awareness of diverse artistic mediums is both inspiring and deeply rewarding.  I will also participate in additional local exhibitions as opportunities arise.
